Q: What is ARCHR?
A: ARCHR is a Solana trading bot on Telegram. It monitors 17 call channels and 6 DexScreener boost tiers for new token signals, lets you auto-trade or manually buy/sell, copy trade other wallets, and manage positions — all from within Telegram.

Q: How do I get started?
A: ARCHR is invite-only. You need a referral code or invite link to join. Once you start the bot, a Solana wallet is created automatically. Fund it with at least 0.01 SOL to unlock full functionality.

Q: Is it free?
A: There is no subscription fee. ARCHR charges a 1% platform fee per trade, plus standard Solana network fees (typically fractions of a cent).

Q: What signals does ARCHR monitor?
A: ARCHR monitors 17 call channels for hand-picked token calls, plus 6 DexScreener boost tiers (Golden Ticker, Mega Boost, Large Boost, DexScreener listing, Medium Boost, and Small Boost). Each signal source can be configured independently.

Q: What's the difference between alerts and auto-buy?
A: Alerts and auto-buy are independent toggles for each signal source. Alerts send you a notification when a signal fires. Auto-buy automatically purchases the token when a signal fires. You can have alerts on with auto-buy off, or both on, or any combination — per channel, per DEX tier, and per tracked wallet.

Q: What's the difference between Basic Mode and Plan Mode?
A: Basic Mode uses a single Take Profit, Stop Loss, and Trailing Stop across all positions. Plan Mode lets you create multi-stage exit strategies (trading plans) with multiple take-profit stages, custom sell percentages, trailing stops per stage, and moon bag exits. Switch between modes in Settings → Exit Strategy.

Q: How does the AI agent work?
A: The agent uses a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model. You paste your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key, and the agent gives you natural language trading — analyze tokens, execute trades, manage settings, and more through conversation. See AI Trading Agent for setup details.

Q: How much does the AI agent cost?
A: You pay your LLM provider directly. Most conversations cost less than $0.01 with budget models (Claude Haiku 4.5, GPT-5.4 Mini). Set a monthly spending limit in your provider's dashboard to control costs. ARCHR does not charge for agent usage.

Q: Is my AI agent API key secure?
A: Your API key is encrypted with AES-256 before storage and never stored in plain text. The key message you send is auto-deleted from chat immediately.

Q: Which AI model should I choose?
A: For most users, Claude Sonnet 4.6 (Anthropic) or GPT-5.4 Mini (OpenAI) offers the best balance of speed, quality, and cost. Use thinking-enabled or premium models only when you need deeper analysis.

Q: How does copy trading work?
A: Copy trading lets you track up to 20 Solana wallets and automatically mirror their buys and sells. Each wallet has independent settings for buy amount, exit strategy, and filters. Use /copy or go to Settings → Signal Preferences → Copy Trading.

Q: How does copy sell work?
A: When a tracked wallet sells and your exit strategy is set to "Copy Sell," the bot calculates what percentage they sold and sells the same percentage of your position. This only applies to positions that were originally bought via copy trading from that same wallet.

Q: Can I set different buy amounts for different channels?
A: Yes. Go to Settings → Signal Preferences, tap any channel, and set a fixed SOL amount or percentage of balance. If left on "Global Default," your main buy amount is used.

Q: What is the minimum deposit required?
A: 0.01 SOL minimum to unlock full trading functionality. Limited features available without deposit.

Q: Can I use the bot on multiple devices?
A: Yes, access through any device with Telegram. Settings and history sync across devices.

Q: Is my private key safe?
A: Yes, private keys use AES-256 encryption and enterprise security standards. You can export your private key at any time for use in external wallets like Phantom or Solflare.

Q: What happens if I lose Telegram access?
A: Recover funds using your private key in external Solana wallets. Always backup your private key securely.

Q: How does auto-trading work?
A: Auto-buy triggers when signals meet your configured criteria and filters. Independent of alert settings. Signal auto-buy requires Global Auto-Trade, per-signal auto-buy, and execution-wallet auto-buy. Copy-trade auto-buy requires Global Auto-Trade, Copy Auto-Buy, and per-wallet Copy Trade. Use main menu 🤖 Auto → Diagnostics to see blockers.

Q: I turned on auto-buy but nothing happens — why?
A: Auto-buy has multiple gates across different menus. Open 🤖 Auto on the main menu and check whether the label is SETUP (partially configured) vs ACTIVE. Tap Diagnostics for the exact blocker per signal or tracked wallet.

Q: Why did I get “Auto-Buy Paused — Low Balance”?
A: ARCHR soft-paused auto-buy so your wallet would keep enough SOL to sell open positions after the next buy (~0.01 SOL reserved per position). No settings were changed. Deposit more SOL, lower buy amount, or close positions — auto-buy resumes automatically when balance is sufficient. Manual buys are not blocked by this gate.

Q: Why does main menu Buy Amt show “(wallet)”?
A: Your active wallet has a custom buy amount that overrides the global default. Change it in Manage Wallets, or choose Use Global. If you update the global buy amount with multiple wallets that have overrides, you’ll be asked whether to sync all wallets.

Q: Can I customize signal types? A: Yes, granular control over which signal types trigger alerts and auto-buys. You can also set different buy amounts, exit strategies, and filters for each individual channel, DEX signal, or tracked wallet.

Q: Can I set stop-losses?
A: Yes, configurable stop-loss, take-profit, and trailing stop features available in settings. You can also set per-position overrides through Position Settings.

Q: What are trading fees?
A: Standard Solana network fees apply (typically fractions of a cent per transaction), plus a 1% platform fee per trade.

Q: How accurate are signals?
A: Signals reflect actual developer investments in token promotion. Investment level indicates probable project commitment but does not guarantee profitability.
