### Low-Balance Auto-Buy Protection

- **Soft-pauses auto-buys** when your wallet wouldn’t have enough SOL left after the next buy to cover sell fees for your open positions (~0.01 SOL reserved per position, including the new one).
- Applies to **signal auto-buys and copy-trade auto-buys** on the execution wallet.
- You’ll get an **“Auto-Buy Paused — Low Balance”** alert with a Deposit shortcut. **No settings are changed.**
- Auto-buy **resumes automatically** once balance is high enough again (or buy size / open positions change).
- Manual buys are **not** blocked by this gate.

### Multi-Wallet Buy Amount UX

- After you change your **global buy amount**, if you have multiple wallets with custom buy amounts, ARCHR asks whether to **apply the new global amount to all wallets** or keep the per-wallet overrides.
- Main menu **Buy Amt** shows **`(wallet)`** when the active wallet is using a per-wallet override instead of the global default.

### Auto-Buy Control Panel

- **🤖 Auto opens a control panel** instead of toggling auto-trade directly from the main menu.
- **Status at a glance:** main menu label shows **OFF** (master off), **SETUP** (master on but a required gate is still off), or **ACTIVE** (at least one signal or copy-trade path is fully ready).
- **Diagnostics view** lists per-signal and per-copy-wallet blockers so you can see exactly why auto-buy is not firing.
- **Quick actions** from the panel: toggle Global Auto-Trade, toggle Copy Auto-Buy, and jump to Signal Preferences, Wallets, or Copy Trading.
- **Contextual warnings** when enabling auto-buy in Signal Preferences, Wallet Management, or Copy Trade if other required gates are still off.

### Signal & copy auto-buy gates (clarified in UI)

- **Signal auto-buy** requires three gates: Global Auto-Trade, per-signal auto-buy (Signal Preferences), and execution-wallet auto-buy (Manage Wallets). Multi-Buy sends to all auto-buy wallets; otherwise only the active wallet counts.
- **Copy-trade auto-buy** requires three gates: Global Auto-Trade, Copy Auto-Buy (panel or Auto-Buy Control Panel), and per-wallet Copy Trade. Copy buys use the **active wallet** only (no execution-wallet toggle needed).
- **Copy-trade enforcement fix:** copy buys now correctly require the global Copy Auto-Buy toggle (`signalPreferences.autoBuy.tracked_wallet`), matching the documented 3-gate model.

### Filtering

- **Removed X/Twitter Community filter** — the social filter now only checks for Telegram or X/Twitter link presence. The separate “require Twitter Community” option is gone from global, per-signal, and per-wallet filter menus.

### AI Agent

- **`getAutoBuyStatus` tool** — the agent can report effective auto-buy readiness, blockers, and configured vs active paths (same logic as the control panel).

- **Updated model lineups for both providers.**
  - **Anthropic:** Claude Opus 4.7 replaces Opus 4.6 (same price, improved agentic reasoning). Claude Haiku 4.5 replaces Claude 3.5 Haiku (faster, $1/$5 per MTok). Claude Sonnet 4 (legacy) removed — retiring June 15 2026. Sonnet 4.6 and its Thinking variant are unchanged.
  - **OpenAI:** GPT-5.4 Mini is the new recommended default. GPT-5.4 and GPT-5.5 (premium) replace the GPT-4.1 lineup. GPT-4.1, GPT-4.1 Mini, o4-mini, and GPT-4o Mini removed.

- The bot automatically creates a unique Solana wallet for your account

### How Commissions Work

When your referrals trade, you earn a percentage of the platform fee (1% of trade volume).

**5-Tier Commission System:**
- **Tier 1** (Direct Referrals): **25%** of platform fee
- **Tier 2** (Their Referrals): **3.5%** of platform fee
- **Tier 3** (Third Level): **2.5%** of platform fee
- **Tier 4** (Fourth Level): **2%** of platform fee

### Example Breakdown

If your direct referral makes a 1 SOL trade:
- Platform fee: 0.01 SOL (1%)
- Your commission: 0.0025 SOL (25% of fee)

If their referral trades 1 SOL:
- Platform fee: 0.01 SOL
- Your Tier 2 commission: 0.00035 SOL (3.5% of fee)

## Per-Channel Settings

Every call channel, DEX signal type, and tracked wallet can be configured independently. Tap any signal source in Signal Preferences to access its settings panel.

### What You Can Customize Per Channel

- Copy trade a wallet with custom filters that allow lower market cap tokens

### How Settings Cascade

Per-channel settings override your global defaults. If a setting is left on "Global," your main settings apply:

## Alert Settings

- Choose specific signal types to receive
- Enable/disable boost upgrade notifications (DexScreener signals only)
- You receive ALL alerts, including tokens with security warnings (see Shield Filter)
- Each call channel, DexScreener signal type, and tracked wallet can be toggled independently

## Auto-Buy Settings

- Independent auto-buy configuration per signal type
- Separate from alert preferences (you can receive alerts without auto-buying)
- Golden Ticker can bypass market cap and holder filters
- Dangerous security warnings always block auto-buy (manual "Trade Anyway" required)

### Signal auto-buy gates

Enabling **Auto-Buy** on a channel is only one step. For signal auto-buys to actually execute, all three must be ON:

1. **Global Auto-Trade** (main menu **🤖 Auto** or Settings)
2. **Per-signal auto-buy** (this screen → channel → Auto-Buy)
3. **Execution-wallet auto-buy** (Manage Wallets → wallet → Auto-Buy)

If you enable per-signal auto-buy while another gate is off, the bot warns you. Check **🤖 Auto → Diagnostics** for the full blocker list. See [Buy Options](/docs/buy-options).

## Shield Filter

The Shield Filter uses Jupiter's Shield API and has three independent sub-toggles:

- **📢 Alert Blocking**: When ON, suppresses alerts entirely for tokens with Shield warnings. When OFF (default), you receive all alerts — dangerous tokens show a "Trade Anyway" button.
- **🤖 Auto-Buy Filter**: When ON, blocks auto-buy for tokens with minor display warnings (high supply concentration, low organic activity, etc.). Dangerous tokens (honeypots, mint/freeze authority, etc.) are **always** blocked from auto-buy regardless of this setting.
- **🔓 Bypass Low Organic**: When ON, ignores "Low Organic Activity" warnings entirely — this common flag is stripped before any filter checks, so it won't suppress alerts or block auto-buys.

Copy trading lets you automatically mirror the trades of any Solana wallet. Track up to 20 wallets and receive alerts, auto-buy, and even auto-sell when the tracked wallet sells.

## Getting Started

### Adding a Wallet

1. Use the `/copy` command or go to **Settings → Signal Preferences → Copy Trading**
2. Tap **➕ Add Wallet**
3. Paste the Solana wallet address you want to track
4. Enter a label (e.g., "Smart Money Whale") — up to 32 characters
5. The wallet is added with default settings (alerts ON, copy trade OFF)

You can track up to **20 wallets** at a time.

## Wallet Settings

Each tracked wallet has its own independent settings. Tap any wallet in the list to open its settings panel.

### Alerts

Toggle notifications ON/OFF for this wallet. When enabled, you'll receive a Telegram alert whenever the wallet buys or sells a token.

- **Buy alerts** show the token, buy size, and full market data
- **Sell alerts** show what was sold, how much, and the approximate percentage of their position

### Copy Trade (Auto-Buy)

When enabled, the bot automatically buys the same token whenever the tracked wallet buys. Three conditions must all be true for a copy-buy to execute:

1. **Auto-Trade** is ON (your master toggle)
2. **Copy Trading auto-buy** is ON (main menu **🤖 Auto** → Auto-Buy Control Panel → Copy Auto-Buy)
3. **Copy Trade** is ON for this specific wallet

Use **Diagnostics** in the Auto-Buy panel to see which gate is blocking copy buys.

### Buy Amount

Control how much SOL to spend when copying a buy:

| **Global Default** | Uses your main buy amount from Settings |
| **Fixed SOL** | A specific SOL amount (e.g., 0.5 SOL) |
| **Percentage** | A percentage of your wallet balance |

### Exit Strategy

Choose what happens after a copy-buy is executed:

| **Copy Sell** | Mirrors the tracked wallet's sells proportionally (default) |
| **Trading Plan** | Applies one of your trading plans |
| **Basic Mode** | Uses your global TP/SL/Trailing Stop settings |
| **Manual Only** | No automatic exits — you sell manually |

**Copy Sell** is the default and recommended for true copy trading. When the tracked wallet sells 50% of their position, the bot sells 50% of yours.

### Filters

Choose which token filters to apply before a copy-buy executes:

- **Global Filters** (default): Uses your main filter settings (market cap, holders, social, shield)
- **Custom Filters**: Override with wallet-specific filters — useful if you want looser filters for a highly trusted wallet

### Min Buy Threshold

Filters out small transactions from the tracked wallet. Default is **0.25 SOL** — only buys above this amount trigger a copy-buy. This helps you ignore test transactions or dust trades.

Set to **None** to copy all buys regardless of size.

### ABP Override (Auto-Buy Protection)

By default, Auto-Buy Protection prevents buying a token you've already traded. Enable this override to allow copy-buys even for tokens you already own — useful if you trust the wallet's re-entry signals.

## Copy Sell — How It Works

When a tracked wallet sells and your position's exit strategy is set to **Copy Sell**:

1. The bot detects the sell transaction
2. It calculates what percentage of their position was sold
3. It sells the same percentage of your position
4. If they sell 100%, your position closes entirely

**Important:** Copy sell only applies to positions that were originally bought via copy trading from that same wallet. It won't sell positions you bought manually or from other signals.

## Tips & Best Practices

1. **Start with alerts only** — Watch a wallet's trades before enabling copy-buy to make sure their style matches your risk tolerance
2. **Use min buy threshold** — Keep the 0.25 SOL minimum to filter out noise trades
3. **Set appropriate buy amounts** — Don't blindly match whale-sized buys; set a fixed amount you're comfortable with
4. **Combine with filters** — Use market cap and holder filters to skip tokens that don't meet your criteria
5. **Consider exit strategy carefully** — Copy Sell is great for fully mirroring a trader, but Trading Plans give you more control over your exits
6. **Track diversely** — Track wallets with different strategies rather than 20 similar wallets calling the same tokens

## Manual Buying

- **Buy by Token Address**: Paste a token contract address or use `/buy`
- **Custom Amount**: Specify exact SOL amount or percentage of balance
- **Default Amount**: Use your configured default buy amount
- **Slippage Control**: Adjustable from 1-100% (recommended: 15-25%)

## Buy Amount Priority

Buy amounts follow a priority chain — more specific settings override more general ones:

1. **Per-signal buy amount** (set in Signal Preferences per channel/signal) overrides global
2. **Per-wallet buy amount** (set in Wallet Management per wallet) overrides per-signal
3. **Global default** (set in Settings → Buy Amount) applies when no override is set

If a per-wallet or per-signal amount is left on "Global," your main settings apply.

## Auto-Buy System

### Auto-Buy Control Panel

Tap **🤖 Auto** on the main menu to open the **Auto-Buy Control Panel**. It shows whether auto-buy is actually **ACTIVE**, **partially configured (SETUP)**, or **OFF**, plus a **Diagnostics** view with specific blockers.

Main menu label meanings:

| **OFF** | Global Auto-Trade is disabled |
| **SETUP** | Auto-Trade is on, but at least one required gate is still off |
| **ACTIVE** | At least one signal or copy-trade path is fully ready to fire |

### Signal Auto-Buy (call channels + DEX)

Three gates must all be ON for signal auto-buys to execute:

1. **Global Auto-Trade** (master switch — Auto-Buy panel or Settings)
2. **Per-signal auto-buy** (Signal Preferences → channel/signal → Auto-Buy)
3. **Execution wallet auto-buy** (Manage Wallets → wallet → Auto-Buy)

With **Multi-Buy** enabled, all wallets with auto-buy ON receive signal buys. Otherwise, only the **active wallet** must have auto-buy ON.

### Other signal auto-buy features

- **Per-Channel Amounts**: Set different buy amounts for each call channel or DEX signal
- **Filtering Integration**: Respects all configured filters (global or per-channel) unless Golden Ticker bypass enabled
- **Cooldown Protection**: Prevents duplicate purchases of same token (configurable via ABP Override per channel)
- **Low-Balance Protection**: Soft-pauses auto-buys when the wallet wouldn’t keep enough SOL for sell fees on open positions after the next buy — resumes automatically; settings unchanged. See [Trading Settings](/docs/trading-settings).
- **Queue Management**: Handles rapid succession alerts efficiently

## Copy Trading Auto-Buy

When copy trading is enabled for a tracked wallet, the bot automatically buys when the wallet buys. Three toggles must all be ON:

1. **Auto-Trade** (master switch)
2. **Copy Trading auto-buy** (Auto-Buy Control Panel → Copy Auto-Buy)
3. **Copy Trade** toggle on the specific tracked wallet

Copy trades execute from your **active wallet** (they do not require execution-wallet auto-buy toggles).

## Manual Selling

Regardless of which mode you're using, you can always manually sell:

- **Custom Percentage**: Specify any exact percentage to sell
- **Sell All Positions**: Emergency exit from all holdings
- **Individual Position Sells**: Target specific tokens from your portfolio

## Basic Mode

Basic Mode uses your global settings to automatically exit positions. Each trigger operates independently.

### Take Profit
Automatically sells 100% when your position reaches your profit target.

- **Example**: Set to 50% → Position sells when P&L hits +50%
- **Access**: Settings → Trading Settings → Take Profit

### Stop Loss
Protects against losses by selling 100% when your position drops to your loss threshold.

- **Example**: Set to 25% → Position sells when P&L hits -25%
- **Access**: Settings → Trading Settings → Stop Loss

### Trailing Stop
A dynamic stop-loss that follows your position's peak profit, then sells if it drops by a set percentage from that peak.

- **Example**: Set to 18% → If position peaks at +60%, sells if it drops to +42%
- **Access**: Settings → Trading Settings → Trailing Stop
- **Note**: Only triggers after your position has been profitable

### Price Protection
Automatically sells if a token's price doesn't increase within 3 minutes of an auto-buy. Protects against rug pulls and failed launches on automated purchases.

- **Applies to**: Auto-buys only (not manual purchases)
- **Triggers**: 3 minutes after auto-buy if price ≤ entry price
- **Access**: Settings → Trading Settings → Price Protection

### Moon Bag Mode (Basic Mode)
When enabled, Take Profit and Trailing Stop execute a **partial sell** instead of 100%:

1. Recover your initial investment
2. Take a percentage of your profits
3. Keep remaining tokens as your "moon bag"
4. Auto-sells disabled for that position afterward

## Trading Plan Mode

Trading Plan Mode lets you create **multi-stage exit strategies** with different rules that execute at different price points. Rules are monitored simultaneously - whichever triggers first executes.

### How It Works

1. **Create or select a plan** with multiple rules
2. **Rules are grouped by type**:
   - 📈 **Profit Rules**: Take Profit, Trailing Stop
   - 🛡️ **Protection**: Stop Loss
3. **Rules execute independently** - first triggered wins
4. **Partial sells** let remaining rules continue monitoring

### Example Plan: "Scaling Out"

ARCHR includes 4 pre-configured plans (default: **Trench Snipe**):

You can also choose **Disable Trading Plan** (in signal-specific or position settings) to turn off automation and trade manually.

### Creating Custom Plans

1. Go to **Settings → Trading Plans → Create Plan**
2. Name your plan
3. Add rules one at a time (up to 10):
   - Choose trigger type (Take Profit, Stop Loss, Trailing Stop)
   - Set the trigger value
   - Choose sell percentage (or Moon Bag for first rule)
4. Click **Finish & Save Plan** when done

### Moon Bag in Trading Plans

The first rule of a custom plan can use **Moon Bag** mode:

- Triggers at your specified profit target
- Recovers investment + takes a percentage of profit
- Remaining rules continue monitoring the moon bag position

### Per-Channel Exit Strategy

You can assign different exit strategies to every individual signal source — each call channel, each DEX signal type, and each tracked wallet can have its own plan:

- **MadApes Calls** → e.g. Moonbag Runner plan
- **Golden Ticker** → e.g. Trench Snipe plan
- **Tracked Wallet** → Copy Sell (mirrors the wallet's exits) or any trading plan
- **Anime Gems** → Manual Only (no automated exits)

Configure per-channel exit strategy via: **Settings → Signal Preferences → [Select Channel] → Exit Strategy**

**Disable Trading Plan** (Manual Only) is available for every signal — select it to turn off all automated exits for positions from that source.

### Copy Sell (Tracked Wallets Only)

When using copy trading, the **Copy Sell** exit strategy mirrors the tracked wallet's sells proportionally. If they sell 50% of their position, the bot sells 50% of yours.

# Wallet Information

ARCHR gives you a built-in, non-custodial Solana wallet the moment you sign up. You can add up to **10 wallets** total — generate new ones or import existing wallets — and control exactly how each one participates in trading.

## Multi-Wallet Overview

- **Up to 10 wallets** per account (generate new or import an existing private key)
- **One active wallet** at a time for all manual buys and sells
- Your **original signup wallet cannot be removed**
- Switch your active wallet via **Manage Wallets**

## Wallet Display

The **Wallet** screen shows all of your wallets at a glance:

- Wallet label, source tag (Original / Generated / Imported), and active status
- On-chain SOL balance for each wallet
- Auto-Buy toggle status per wallet (ON / OFF)
- **Multi-Buy Mode** toggle (ON / OFF)

## Per-Wallet Settings

Each wallet has its own configuration, managed from **Manage Wallets → Wallet Detail**:

| **Auto-Buy** | Toggle ON/OFF — controls whether this wallet participates in **signal** auto-buys (required gate alongside Global Auto-Trade and per-signal auto-buy). Does **not** apply to copy-trade auto-buys (those use the active wallet). See **🤖 Auto** on the main menu for readiness. |
| **Buy Amount** | Override the global buy amount for this wallet — set a fixed SOL amount or a percentage of the wallet's balance. Choose **Use Global** to clear the override. |

When you change your **global buy amount** in Settings and have multiple wallets with custom amounts, ARCHR asks whether to apply the new global amount to **all wallets** or keep the per-wallet overrides. The main menu shows **Buy Amt … (wallet)** when the active wallet override is in use.

## Multi-Buy Mode

When **Multi-Buy Mode is ON**, signal auto-buys execute on **all wallets that have Auto-Buy enabled**, not just the active wallet. This lets you split purchases across multiple wallets from a single signal.

When **Multi-Buy Mode is OFF**, signal auto-buys only execute on the active wallet (if its Auto-Buy is enabled).

Toggle Multi-Buy from the main Wallet screen.

## Deposit & Withdrawal

### Depositing SOL

Send SOL to your wallet address (shown on the Wallet screen). Tap the address to copy it. Balances update in real time from the blockchain.

### Withdrawing SOL

Send SOL from your bot wallet to any external Solana address:

- **No ARCHR fee** — only the standard Solana network fee applies (~$0.000025)
- Minimum balance required to withdraw: **0.002 SOL** (covers the transaction + network fee)
- Access via the **Withdraw** option in the Wallet menu

## Private Key Management

Every wallet's private key is encrypted with **AES-256** before storage. Keys are never stored in plain text and never logged.

- **Export** any wallet's private key from **Manage Wallets → Wallet Detail → Private Key**
- Private key messages are displayed with a spoiler blur and **auto-delete after 30 seconds** for security

## Adding & Removing Wallets

### Generate a New Wallet

Creates a fresh Solana keypair. The private key is AES-256 encrypted on creation.

### Import an Existing Wallet

Paste your base58 private key (the standard format from Phantom, Solflare, etc.). Your message containing the key is **immediately deleted** for security. Duplicate addresses are detected and rejected.

### Removing a Wallet

Any wallet except the original signup wallet can be removed. If you remove the currently active wallet, ARCHR automatically switches back to your original wallet. Open positions on a removed wallet lose active monitoring.

# Private Key Management

Your private keys are the sole proof of wallet ownership. ARCHR encrypts them at rest and provides tools to export and back them up — but ultimately, **you are responsible for keeping your keys safe**.

## How ARCHR Stores Your Keys

- All private keys are encrypted with **AES-256** before being written to the database
- Keys are **never stored in plain text** and **never logged** anywhere
- Each wallet has its own independent encrypted key — multi-wallet means multiple keys to back up
- The same AES-256 encryption protects your AI agent API keys (if configured)

## Exporting a Private Key

**Path:** Wallet → Manage Wallets → select a wallet → Private Key

1. ARCHR displays the key behind a **spoiler blur** — tap to reveal
2. Use the **Copy Private Key** button to get a copyable message
3. The copyable message **auto-deletes after 30 seconds**
4. You can also manually delete the key message at any time with the Delete & Return buttons

Each wallet has its own key. If you have multiple wallets, **export and back up each one separately**.

## Importing a Wallet

When you import an existing wallet, you paste your **base58 private key** (the standard format used by Phantom, Solflare, and most Solana wallets).

- Your message containing the private key is **immediately deleted** from the chat for security
- The key is encrypted with AES-256 before storage
- Duplicate wallet addresses are detected and rejected

## Best Practices

- **Back up every wallet's key separately** — each wallet has a unique private key
- Store keys in an **encrypted password manager** (1Password, Bitwarden, etc.)
- Create backups in **multiple secure locations** (not just one device)
- **Never share your private key** with anyone, including anyone claiming to be ARCHR support
- **Never enter your key** on websites, forms, or DMs — ARCHR will only ever ask for it inside the import flow
- Consider transferring large holdings to a **hardware wallet** for long-term storage
- Verify your backups periodically to make sure they are still accessible

## What Happens If You Lose Your Key

ARCHR cannot recover your private key. If you lose access to the key and the bot, **the funds in that wallet are permanently inaccessible**. This is a fundamental property of non-custodial wallets on Solana.

## Positions (`/positions`)

The **Positions** screen shows all of your currently open positions, paginated 3 per page. For each position you see:

- **Token name and symbol** with contract address
- **Current P&L** — unrealized profit/loss in SOL and USD, with ROI %
- **Market cap** — current vs. entry, with percentage change
- **Hold time** — how long the position has been open
- **Signal source** — which signal or manual action opened the position
- **Wallet** — which of your wallets holds the position

Quick actions from the Positions screen:

- **Sell** — jump straight to the sell flow for a token
- **P&L History** — view closed positions
- **Sync Wallet** — reconcile on-chain balances with tracked positions
- **Refresh** — re-fetch live prices and recalculate P&L

## Live Dashboard (`/live`)

The **Live Dashboard** provides a real-time auto-refreshing view of all open positions with **3-second update intervals**. It continuously pulls fresh market data so you can monitor price action without manually refreshing.

## P&L History (`/history`)

The **P&L History** screen shows all **closed** positions (fully sold tokens) with:

- **Realized P&L** in SOL and USD
- **Entry and exit market caps**
- **SOL invested vs. SOL received**
- **Hold time** from first buy to final sell
- **Share a Win** — generate a shareable image for winning trades

Results are paginated and can be scrolled through with Previous / Next buttons.

## P&L Calculation Method

ARCHR uses **FIFO (First In, First Out) accounting** for all P&L calculations:

- When you sell tokens, the **oldest purchases are matched first** to determine cost basis
- Multiple buys of the same token result in a **weighted average entry price**
- Partial sells correctly reduce cost basis proportionally to the remaining tokens
- Realized P&L is calculated at the moment of each sell using the FIFO-matched cost basis

## Basic Configuration

- **Auto-Trade**: Master switch for all auto-buys (signals and copy trade). Toggle from the main menu **🤖 Auto** control panel or Settings. Turning this on alone does not make auto-buy **ACTIVE** — see gates below.
- **Buy Amount**: Fixed SOL amount (default: 0.01 SOL) or percentage of balance
- **Slippage Tolerance**: 1-100% (default: 20%) - price movement tolerance during trades

## Auto-Buy Control Panel

Tap **🤖 Auto** on the main menu for a consolidated view of signal auto-buy, execution wallets, and copy-trade readiness.

## Auto-Buy Protection

Prevents duplicate auto-buys of the same token, protecting you from unintentional position stacking.

### How It Works

- When a signal fires for a token you've already purchased (open or closed position), the auto-buy is skipped
- You'll receive a notification explaining why the auto-buy was blocked
- Manual buys are **not affected** - you can always buy manually if you choose

### Why Use It

- **Multiple signals**: DEX + Call channels may fire for the same token
- **Multiple callers**: Different call channels may call the same token
- **Re-entries**: Prevents accidentally re-buying a token you've already traded

### Settings

- **Location**: Settings → Auto-Buy Protection
- **Default**: ON for all users (recommended)
- **Toggle**: Enable or disable at any time

### Buy Again Flow

When an auto-buy is blocked, you'll receive a notification with:

- Token name and address
- Your existing position status (open or closed)
- **Buy Again** button - manually purchase if you want to add to your position
- **View Position** button - see your existing position (if open)
- **Protection Settings** button - quickly access the setting

## Low-Balance Auto-Buy Protection

Soft-pauses **signal and copy-trade auto-buys** when the execution wallet wouldn’t keep enough SOL after the next buy to cover sell fees for open positions.

### How It Works

- ARCHR reserves ~**0.01 SOL per open auto-sell-eligible position**, plus the same amount for the new buy
- If `wallet balance − buy amount` would fall below that reserve, the auto-buy is **skipped**
- You receive an **“Auto-Buy Paused — Low Balance”** alert with a Deposit shortcut
- **No settings are changed** — auto-buy resumes automatically when balance is sufficient again
- **Manual buys are not blocked** by this gate (they still need the normal fee buffer)

### Why Use It

- Prevents stacking new auto-buys that leave you unable to exit existing positions
- Especially important with many open positions or a small wallet balance relative to buy size

### Where You’ll See It

- Auto-Buy Control Panel / Diagnostics may list a low-balance blocker
- Alert notification when a signal or copy auto-buy is paused for this reason

## Per-Signal Buy Amount & Exit Strategy

You can override your global buy amount and exit strategy for each individual signal source (call channel, DEX signal type, or tracked wallet). This is configured in **Settings → Signal Preferences** — tap any channel to access its settings.

- **Buy Amount**: Global default, fixed SOL, or percentage of balance — per signal
- **Exit Strategy**: Trading Plan, Basic Mode, or Manual Only — per signal
- If left on "Global," your main settings apply

- **Basic Mode vs Plan Mode**: Choose your default exit strategy under **Settings → Trading Plans**

### Global Settings (Basic Mode)

These settings apply to all positions when using Basic Mode:

- **Take Profit**: Automatic profit-taking percentage (default: OFF)
- **Stop Loss**: Loss protection percentage (default: OFF)  
- **Trailing Stop**: Dynamic stop-loss that follows price increases (default: OFF)
- **Trailing Take Profit (TTP)**: Activates trailing only after a position reaches a minimum profit threshold, then trails the peak with a configurable drawdown. Two parameters: Activation (5–1000%) and Drawdown (1–50%). Default: OFF.
- **Price Protection**: Auto-sell after 3 minutes if price doesn't increase from purchase (applies to auto-buys only)

You can customize Take Profit and Stop Loss for individual positions, overriding your global settings. This is useful for:

- High-conviction plays that deserve wider stop losses
- Tokens where you want to take profits earlier
- Volatile tokens that need more breathing room

## What is a Moon Bag?

A "moon bag" is a common crypto trading strategy where you take profits on a winning trade while keeping a small portion of your position open in case the token continues to rise ("goes to the moon"). This lets you:

- **Recover your initial investment** - Get your money back
- **Lock in profits** - Secure most of your gains
- **Maintain upside exposure** - Keep some tokens for potential further gains

## How Moon Bag Mode Works

When Moon Bag Mode is enabled and a profit-taking trigger fires (Take Profit, Trailing Stop, or Trailing Take Profit), the bot checks if your profit meets your threshold. If it does:

1. **Calculate the sell amount**: Initial investment + X% of your profits
2. **Execute partial sell**: Sell only the calculated amount
3. **Keep moon bag**: Remaining tokens stay in your wallet
4. **Disable auto-sells**: All automated selling is disabled for that position
5. **Continue tracking**: P&L updates and price alerts continue normally

### Example

With default settings (33% threshold, 90% profit take):

If your profit is **below** the threshold (e.g., 20% profit with 33% threshold), a normal 100% sell executes instead.

***NOTE: If you want to leave a moonbag on every position with profit, just set your threshold to 1%.***

### Moon Bag Mode Toggle
- **Enabled**: Uses moon bag logic when Take Profit, Trailing Stop, or Trailing Take Profit triggers
- **Disabled**: Normal 100% sells (default)

Minimum profit percentage required to use moon bag logic instead of a full sell.

- **Auto-sells disabled**: No Stop Loss, Take Profit, Trailing Stop, or TTP
- **Manual only**: You decide when to sell the remaining tokens
- **P&L tracking**: Continues normally
- **Price alerts**: Still sent if enabled

### Plan Mode

In Plan Mode, moon bag behavior is different:

- Subsequent plan stages **continue executing** on remaining tokens
- The position is not locked to manual-only
- This allows multi-stage plans to use moon bag as an intermediate step

### When to Use Moon Bag Mode

✅ **Good scenarios:**
- Trading volatile meme coins with high upside potential
- When you want to "let winners run" while securing profits
- During bull markets when tokens can 10x+

❌ **Consider disabling for:**
- Stablecoin or low-volatility trades
- When you need to fully exit positions quickly
- If you prefer hands-off, fully automated trading

A: Not currently. Once a position enters moon bag mode, it stays in manual-only mode until closed.

**Q: Does moon bag mode work with Stop Loss?**
A: No. Stop Loss always sells 100% because its purpose is to cut losses quickly, not preserve upside.

**Q: What if my moon bag becomes worthless?**
A: This is the risk of holding. You've already recovered your investment and most profits - the moon bag is "house money" you're willing to risk.

## Global vs Per-Channel Filters

By default, all signal sources use your **global filter settings**. You can override filters for any individual call channel, DEX signal type, or tracked wallet:

1. Go to **Settings → Signal Preferences**
2. Select the channel or signal
3. Tap **Filters**
4. Switch from **Global** to **Custom**
5. Configure channel-specific market cap, holders, social, and shield settings

This is useful when you want tighter filters for some channels and looser filters for trusted sources like specific wallets or high-quality call channels.

## Market Cap Filter

- **Minimum Market Cap**: Only consider tokens above specified value (e.g., $5K)
- **Maximum Market Cap**: Exclude tokens above specified value (e.g., $1M)
- **Custom Ranges**: Set your preferred market cap investment range

## Holders Filter

- **Minimum Holders**: Require minimum number of token holders (default: 1)
- **Distribution Analysis**: Avoid tokens with excessive whale concentration
- **Quality Control**: Filter out tokens with poor holder distribution

## Social Media Filter

- **Social Filter Toggle**: Enable or disable social filtering
- **Social Link Requirement**: When enabled, tokens need at least one Telegram or X/Twitter link

## ARCHR Shield Filter

The Shield Filter uses Jupiter's Shield API to detect potentially dangerous tokens. It has **three independent sub-toggles** in Settings → Shield Filter:

### 📢 Alert Blocking

Controls whether alerts are suppressed for tokens with Shield warnings.

- **OFF (default)**: You receive ALL alerts, including flagged tokens. Dangerous tokens show a "⚠️ Trade Anyway" button so you can choose to trade manually.
- **ON**: Alerts are suppressed entirely for tokens with any Shield warnings. Keeps your feed clean from risky tokens.

### 🤖 Auto-Buy Filter

Controls whether minor warnings block auto-buys.

- **Dangerous warnings ALWAYS block auto-buy** regardless of this setting (honeypots, wash trading, etc.)
- **OFF (default)**: Only dangerous tokens are blocked from auto-buy
- **ON**: Also blocks auto-buy for minor display warnings (very low trading activity, high supply concentration, high single ownership, low organic activity, transfer fees)

### 🔓 Bypass Low Organic Activity

Controls how the common "Low Organic Activity" warning is handled.

- **OFF (default)**: "Low Organic Activity" is treated like any other display warning — can suppress alerts (if Alert Blocking is ON) and block auto-buys (if Auto-Buy Filter is ON)
- **ON**: The "Low Organic Activity" warning is stripped entirely before any filter checks. It won't suppress alerts and won't block auto-buys. Many profitable tokens trigger this flag, so bypassing it lets them through while all other Shield warnings still apply.

### Warning Types

**Dangerous Warnings (Always Block Auto-Buy):**
- Honeypot detection
- Not sellable tokens
- Mint/Freeze authority issues
- Wash trading detection
- Hidden key holders
- Suspicious developer activity

**Minor Display Warnings (Blocked when Auto-Buy Filter is ON):**
- Very low trading activity
- High supply concentration
- Mutable transfer fees
- High single ownership
- Low organic activity
- Transfer fees

### Trade Anyway Flow

When you receive an alert for a dangerous token (with Alert Blocking OFF), you'll see:
1. The signal header (e.g., "🚨 New Token has Paid DEX!")
2. A security warning section listing the issues
3. Basic token info (name, market cap, holders)
4. **"⚠️ Trade Anyway"** and **"❌ Close"** buttons

Clicking "Trade Anyway" shows the full token information with buy buttons, allowing you to manually purchase despite the warnings.

- **Gain Calculation**: `(Current Price - Entry Price) / Entry Price × 100%`
- **Confirmation**: Price must stay above threshold for 2 consecutive checks (6 seconds) to avoid false alerts

**Important:** Price alerts are notifications only — they do not trigger any sells. They are separate from Take Profit, which automatically sells when the threshold is hit. Use price alerts to stay informed and Take Profit to automate exits.

# AI Trading Agent

ARCHR includes an optional AI trading assistant that understands natural language. Ask it to analyze tokens, execute trades, check your positions, modify settings, or explain how features work — all through conversation.

## How It Works

The AI agent uses a **BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)** model. You provide your own API key from OpenAI or Anthropic, and ARCHR connects to that provider on your behalf. You pay the LLM provider directly for token usage. ARCHR does not charge for agent usage.

The agent has full access to your account data and bot functionality through approximately **62 native tools** and **13 internal MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools** for on-chain/market data when configured. It can read your positions, execute trades, update settings, analyze tokens, and provide market intelligence.

> Note: These internal MCP tools power the Telegram agent. A **public** ARCHR MCP server for external agents is on the roadmap and not available yet.

## Setup

1. Go to **Settings → 🤖 Agent Mode**
2. Tap **Set API Key**
3. Choose your provider (Anthropic or OpenAI)
4. Paste your API key (the message is auto-deleted for security)
5. Select a model (or keep the recommended default)
6. Toggle Agent Mode ON

## Safety Guardrails

The agent has built-in safety limits to protect your funds:

- **Trade confirmation**: Before executing any trade, the agent shows you the details and asks for confirmation via inline buttons. You must tap ✅ Confirm to execute.
- **Auto-Execute mode**: When enabled (Settings → Agent Mode → Auto-Execute), trades execute immediately without confirmation. Use with caution.
- **Daily auto-execute threshold**: After 25 agent-initiated trades in a day, ARCHR forces confirmation mode even if Auto-Execute is enabled (resets at midnight UTC).
- **Cooldown**: 30-second minimum between consecutive trades.
- **Read-only by default**: The agent cannot generate, import, or remove wallets, and cannot reveal private keys. Use the Wallet menu for these operations.

## Using the Agent

Once Agent Mode is enabled, simply type a message in the chat. The agent understands natural language:

- "What's the price of BONK?"
- "Buy 0.5 SOL of So11...address"
- "Sell 50% of my WIF position"
- "What are my current settings?"
- "Set my trailing stop to 20%"
- "Show me what's trending"
- "Explain how trading plans work"

### Tips for Best Results

- **Be specific**: "Buy 0.1 SOL of [address]" works better than "buy some tokens"
- **Use token addresses** when possible for unambiguous identification
- **Check your settings first**: Ask "show my settings" to verify before trading
- **Start with analysis**: Ask the agent to analyze a token before buying
- **Use confirmation mode**: Keep Auto-Execute OFF while learning

## Commands and Agent Together

The agent works alongside regular bot commands and buttons. You can:

Override global trading settings for individual positions to customize your exit strategy per token.

## What Are Position Settings?

Position Settings let you choose how each individual position is managed — independently from your global defaults. You can switch between three exit modes and customize Take Profit / Stop Loss on a per-position basis.

## Accessing Position Settings

You can access Position Settings from multiple places:

- **Live Dashboard**: Click the ⚙️ button on any position
- **Positions Menu**: Select a position, then tap "⚙️ Position Settings"
- **After Buying**: Settings button appears on the buy confirmation message

## Exit Modes

Each position can be in one of three exit modes. You can switch between them at any time without closing the position.

### ⚡ Simple Mode

Set custom Take Profit and Stop Loss for this position, overriding your global defaults.

- **Take Profit**: 1-10,000% — auto-sell when P&L reaches this percentage
- **Stop Loss**: 1-100% — auto-sell when P&L drops to -X%
- If not set, your global TP/SL/Trailing Stop settings apply
- Tap "🔄 Reset to Defaults" to clear custom values

### 📊 Plan Mode

Apply a multi-rule trading plan to this position. Plans execute staged exits automatically (e.g., sell 50% at +50%, trail the rest).

- Choose from built-in plans (Trench Snipe, Moonbag Runner, Profit Clipping), your saved plans, or **Disable Trading Plan** to go manual
- You can change the plan at any time — plan progress is preserved when switching plans
- Tap "📋 Change Plan" to select a different plan

### 📡 Copy Sell Mode

Only available for positions opened via copy trading. Mirrors the tracked wallet's sell signals.

- When the tracked wallet sells, your position sells the same percentage
- Shows the tracked wallet name and activation date
- Switch to Simple or Plan Mode anytime for local controls

## How It Works

### Default Behavior

Without custom settings, all positions use your global settings from the Settings menu:
- Global Take Profit (if enabled)
- Global Stop Loss (if enabled)
- Global Trailing Stop (if enabled)

### Override Mode

When you set custom values for a position:
1. Position uses your custom Take Profit and/or Stop Loss
2. Other positions continue using global defaults
3. Visual indicator (⚙️) appears next to the position in lists
4. Settings persist even if you buy more of the same token

### Resetting to Defaults

Tap "🔄 Reset to Defaults" to remove all custom settings and return to using your global settings.

## Visual Indicators

- **⚙️ Icon**: Appears next to positions with custom settings in position lists
- **Settings Display**: Shows "(custom)" or "(default)" next to each value
- **Dashboard Integration**: Settings button accessible without stopping the live dashboard

## Best Practices

- **High-Conviction Plays**: Use higher Take Profit targets for tokens you believe have more upside
- **Volatile Tokens**: Use wider Stop Loss ranges for tokens with high volatility
- **Cautious Positions**: Use tighter Stop Loss for tokens you're less certain about
- **Keep Most Defaults**: Only use custom settings for special situations to maintain consistency
- **Review Regularly**: Check custom settings as market conditions and your strategy evolve

## Important Notes

- Settings apply to **automated exit triggers only** (Take Profit, Stop Loss, Trailing Stop)
- **Manual sells always work** regardless of position settings
- Position settings **persist if you buy more** of the same token (position reopens with same settings)
- **Moon Bag Mode**, if active on a position, disables all auto-sell triggers regardless of settings (Basic Mode only)
- Custom settings are **independent per position** — changing one doesn't affect others
- Changing exit modes doesn't close your position — only changes how exits are managed

## User Interface Details

### Entry Points

Position Settings opens as a **new message** that doesn't interfere with your current screen:
- Live Dashboard continues running while settings are open
- Positions menu stays accessible
- You can navigate away and settings message remains

### Close Button

Tap "❌ Close" to dismiss the settings message. Your source screen (dashboard/positions) is still there.

### Multiple Positions

If you have multiple open positions:
- First screen shows a list of all positions
- Positions with custom settings show ⚙️ indicator
- Select a position to manage its settings
- "⬅️ Back" button returns to position list
- "❌ Close" exits completely

### Single Position

If you only have one open position:
- Settings screen opens directly (skips position selector)
- "❌ Close" button exits the settings

### What It Does

Position Recovery scans your wallet for tokens that exist on-chain but don't have corresponding positions in the database. This can happen when:

- System interruptions during trading operations

## Private Key Encryption

- All wallet private keys are encrypted with **AES-256** before being stored in the database
- Keys are **never stored in plain text** and **never appear in logs**
- Encryption uses a unique random IV per operation, preventing identical plaintexts from producing identical ciphertexts
- The encryption key is stored as an environment variable, separate from the database

## Agent API Key Encryption

If you use the AI Agent (BYOK model), your provider API key (OpenAI or Anthropic) is encrypted with the **same AES-256 scheme** as private keys:

- Encrypted before storage, decrypted only at the moment of an LLM call
- Never logged or exposed in error messages
- API keys are validated against the provider on save — invalid keys are rejected immediately

## Sensitive Message Handling

ARCHR automatically protects sensitive information in Telegram messages:

- **Copyable key messages auto-delete after 30 seconds**

## Getting Started

- **Start with small amounts.** Fund your wallet with an amount you can afford to lose while you learn the system.
- **Start in manual mode.** Leave auto-buy off until you have placed a few trades by hand and are comfortable with how buys, sells, and exits behave.
- **Explore the settings** before your first trade — understand buy amounts, slippage, and risk management options.

## Risk Management Settings

- **Set a Stop Loss** on every position, especially on auto-buys. A stop loss automatically sells if the price drops to your threshold, limiting downside.
- **Use Price Protection for auto-buys.** This 3-minute safety net auto-sells if the token price doesn't increase from entry within 3 minutes — catching dumps shortly after you buy.
- **Enable Auto-Buy Protection** to prevent duplicate purchases of tokens you already hold. This is on by default and blocks accidental repeat buys from multiple signals.
- **Keep enough SOL for sell fees.** Auto-buy soft-pauses when a new buy would leave too little SOL to exit open positions (~0.01 SOL reserved per position). Deposit or lower buy size so exits stay possible.
- **Apply filters** to control which signals can trigger auto-buys:
  - **Market cap filters** — set min/max market cap thresholds
  - **Holder count filters** — require a minimum number of holders

## Trading Plans

- **Choose a Trading Plan that matches your style.** Plans define multi-stage exit strategies (take profit levels, stop losses, trailing stops) that execute automatically.
- In **Basic Mode**, you set a single TP, SL, and optional trailing stop.
- In **Plan Mode**, you pick from pre-configured or custom multi-stage plans with escrow exits.
- **Apply a plan before your trade**, either per-signal or as a global default, so risk management is active from the moment you enter a position.

## Auto-Buy Configuration

- **Use the Auto-Buy Control Panel** (main menu **🤖 Auto**) before relying on auto-buy. Confirm the label shows **ACTIVE**, not just **SETUP**.
- **Run Diagnostics** if trades are not firing — signal auto-buy needs Global Auto-Trade + per-signal auto-buy + execution-wallet auto-buy; copy trade needs Global Auto-Trade + Copy Auto-Buy + per-wallet Copy Trade.
- **Set your buy amount conservatively.** You can use a fixed SOL amount or a percentage of your wallet balance.
- **Review your signal preferences** to control which signal types can trigger auto-buys independently from alerts.
- **Use the per-wallet buy amount** override if you want different allocation sizes across wallets. Changing the **global** buy amount with multiple wallets may prompt you to sync overrides to all wallets.

## Copy Trading

- **Only copy wallets you trust.** Copy trading mirrors another wallet's buys automatically — you are trusting their judgment with your funds.
- **Verify all three copy auto-buy gates** in **🤖 Auto → Diagnostics**: Global Auto-Trade, Copy Auto-Buy, and per-wallet Copy Trade.
- **Set the minimum buy threshold** (default: 0.25 SOL) to filter out test transactions and dust buys from tracked wallets.
- **Enable "Use Global Filters"** on tracked wallets so your market cap, holder, and shield filters still apply to copy trades.
- **Monitor copied positions** through the Positions screen and Live Dashboard just like any other trade.

## AI Agent Tips

- **Start with analysis, not trades.** Ask the agent to analyze tokens, check market data, or review your positions before asking it to execute trades.
- **Use confirmation mode** (Auto-Execute OFF, the default). Every trade the agent proposes will require your explicit approval before execution.
- **Agent safety limits:** max 10 agent-initiated trades per day with a 30-second cooldown between trades.
- Your API key is encrypted with AES-256 and only used to call the LLM — you pay your provider directly.

## Multi-Wallet Management

- **Back up every wallet's private key separately.** Each wallet has its own key — losing one means losing access to that wallet's funds.
- **Export keys from** Manage Wallets → Wallet Detail → Private Key.
- **Store backups** in an encrypted password manager and in at least one additional secure location.
- Your original signup wallet cannot be removed, but additional wallets can be deleted at any time.

## Active Monitoring

- **Use the Live Dashboard** (`/live`) to watch open positions with 3-second auto-refresh.
- **Check P&L History** (`/history`) regularly to review your closed trades and overall performance.

## Common Issues

### Auto-Buy Not Firing

Auto-buy uses multiple independent gates. A toggle can look ON in one menu while trades still do not execute.

1. Open **🤖 Auto** on the main menu → **🔍 Diagnostics**
2. Check the main menu label: **OFF** = master switch off; **SETUP** = something still blocking; **ACTIVE** = at least one path ready
3. **Signal auto-buy** needs all three: Global Auto-Trade, per-signal auto-buy (Signal Preferences), and execution-wallet auto-buy (Manage Wallets)
4. **Copy-trade auto-buy** needs all three: Global Auto-Trade, Copy Auto-Buy (Auto panel), and per-wallet Copy Trade ON
5. Confirm filters, balance (0.01 SOL minimum), and Auto-Buy Protection are not blocking the token
6. Check for a **low-balance pause** (see below)

### Auto-Buy Paused — Low Balance

If you see **“Auto-Buy Paused — Low Balance”**:

- ARCHR skipped the auto-buy so you’d keep enough SOL to sell existing positions (~0.01 SOL reserved per open position, including the new one)
- **Nothing was turned off** — deposit more SOL, lower buy amount, or close positions; auto-buy resumes when the wallet is sufficient again
- Manual buys still work (subject to the normal fee buffer)
- Use **💰 Deposit** on the alert, or open Wallet / Diagnostics on the Auto-Buy panel

### Signal Reception Problems
- Check **Signal Preferences** (🚀 button on main menu or Settings → Signal Preferences) and verify the desired signal types have alerts enabled
- Ensure Telegram notifications are enabled for the bot in your device settings
- Confirm account has sufficient balance (0.01 SOL minimum for full access)
- Remember: alerts and auto-buy are independent toggles — having auto-buy on does not mean alerts are on
